Accomplishments
Designed, implemented, and documented multiple APIs to simplify customization and automation of client-specific tasks. These APIs include patterns which allow programmers to give the end-user the choice of whether to run a task in an interactive or automated mode.
Designed and implemented secure system for storing and forwarding of financial transactions. Features included password encryption, audit controls and automated accumulation of funds. Checksums were incorporated to make up for the lack of native security in FoxPro.
Conceived, designed and implemented a system for storage and retrieval of transaction information. Stores upwards of 1.5 million records per day for over 180 days. This system greatly reduces research time for account managers and customer service. Fields are compressed using a scheme that allows data to be indexed properly; this was done to balance the cost of hardware with retrieval performance. Built entirely with FoxPro, except compression routines in Visual C++.
Customer service recognition for "expedient" and "professional" solutions to high profile problems.
